First visit to this amazing historic site. Great food and beer, we had a stroll around the property to burn off the beer and tots. The Ruben I had was very tasty and made for great leftovers the next day

It's a unique format for a restaurant. They take your order and then cook it in a giant iron forge in the back, I'm assuming. I was enough intrigued that I stuck to salad. Although my friends forge-cooked burger looked delightful, and I'll for sure try it next time.

Another favorite Mcmenamins location. Ironwork grill is one of a few spots at the Grand Lodge for food and drinks. Every time I’ve gone, the waiters and waitresses are super friendly. They have a downstairs live music section also. Food as always is over the top delicious, as well as their beer selection.

Great atmosphere, satoutside in the patio. They have pizza but it's not on the Happy Hour menu. Good service, attentive staff.

McMenamins! Always a sure bet on everything from atmosphere to food! Service always exceeds expectations. As an out-of-towner, the Grand Lodge has always been a mainstay, as does their "Ironwork Grill." Even just for drinks at the bar, the peculiar and bizarre setting adds to the adventure and mystique! If you haven't been, try it! If you have, well... you know! Salud! Thanks, guys. we'll be back! ...And, we are back enjoying the fantastic atmosphere and food here on May 14, 2025. They have lived up to our expectations once again! Fine job, McMenamins!

I was early to see Les Claypool and the Fearless Flying Frog Brigade. I chose to have the steak sandwich and fries with the aioli garlic dipping sauce and a Hammerhead IPA. The food was delicious and well portioned, but I wished I had a steak knife, which I never asked for, but made due with a butter knife. The service was excellent and professional. The cleanliness was spot on, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely suggest eating here with a group, but single diners are welcome as well.

I really enjoyed my meals here (breakfast and dinner). The portions are massive, be warned. My drinks were really good and the service was good. The atmosphere is really nice, with an old library feel to it. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I like that they offer beer and cider flights so you get to try several flavors.
